OUR STORY
VELNESE began with a simple belief: what we wear to move should support the way we want to live.
Inspired by the sound and spirit of “wellness,” the name VELNESE represents a more considered approach to movement—one built around balance, confidence and everyday well-being. To us, wellness is not a destination or a perfect routine. It is the way we choose to care for ourselves, move through the world and feel at home in our bodies.
We are a group of people who genuinely love movement. Through training, yoga and everyday life, we repeatedly encountered the same frustrations: fabrics that felt uncomfortable after extended wear, silhouettes that restricted movement, distracting details and activewear designed more for appearance than real life.
VELNESE was created to improve that experience.
FABRIC FIRST
Every design begins with how the fabric feels and performs.
We focus on softness, stretch, recovery, breathability and coverage, selecting materials with the intention of creating pieces that feel comfortable during movement and remain effortless throughout the day. We believe the right fabric should work with the body—not compete with it.
DESIGNED WITH INTENTION
We approach design by asking what is truly necessary.
Each seam, line and detail should have a purpose. We refine the fit, remove unnecessary elements and work to create clean silhouettes that feel confident without trying too hard. Our goal is not to follow every passing trend, but to create versatile activewear that moves naturally between training, travel and everyday life.

For VELNESE, “Less is more” does not mean ordinary.
It means making thoughtful choices. It means removing what distracts and improving what remains. Simplicity gives greater importance to fabric, proportion, fit and movement—the details that define how a garment truly feels.
We pursue simplicity with character: minimal, but never without intention.

VELNESE products are designed in the USA and manufactured in China in collaboration with experienced production partners.
We value the strengths of both: a global design perspective and skilled manufacturing expertise. From fabric selection and product development to fit adjustment and quality review, we continue refining every piece with the aim of creating activewear that looks considered, feels comfortable and performs with purpose.
